Regulatory Compliance

Overview

Strathcona works closely with regulators and meets or exceeds all Canadian industry requirements.

Record Of Payments

The Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act (ESTMA) requires companies to provide a record of specific payments made to all governments in Canada and abroad to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) no later than 150 days after the end of each financial year.

NRCan requires the reporting entity to follow a specific process, including the use of a standard form and making the report publicly accessible.

Emergency Preparedness

Strathcona’s emergency response plans are evaluated for effectiveness and updated on a regular basis. Only plans regulated by the Canada Energy Regulator are posted to our website.

PREVENTION OF MODERN SLAVERY

In accordance with Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour Supply Chains Act, Strathcona reports annually on steps taken to prevent and reduce the risk of forced or child labour in our business and supply chain.
